About the role
Kerry is seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler for it's plant location in Jackson, Wisconsin. This is a key position that is performed on-site and not remotely..
Key responsibilities
• Utilize SAP tools to develop and implement strategic production plans to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during weekly PSI meetings to gather and analyze data on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity to create accurate production schedules. • Identify and proactively plan for potential changes in demand, resource availability, extended repairs, and supply shortages to minimize impact to our customers, network, and financial performance.
• Plan for utilizing rework inventory during production runs.
• Attend/participate in daily tier meetings with production, maintenance, warehouse, and quality assurance.
• Communicate/respond to customer care via supply chain cockpits daily or more often as changes and updates occur.
• Utilize Scrap at Risk tool (PowerBI) to ensure aged, slow moving, and obsolete inventory action items are addressed timely.
• Provide analysis and follow-up to ensure all plant Service, Inventory, and other KPI’s are met or exceeded. Work closely with Supply Chain Data Analyst to maintain clean master data.
Qualifications and skills
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. APICS Certification preferred though not required.
• 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution environment preferred. • Proficient in SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of production planning principles, techniques, and methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-based, team-centered manufacturing facility.
The pay range for this position is $64,479 - $105,272 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
