Job Title: Planner
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Planner to develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and safety stock levels. The ideal candidate will monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations and coordinate with Production, Planning, Sourcing, and Warehouse teams to ensure product availability. Responsibilities also include using ERP/MRP systems to keep production data accurate and up to date, tracking progress on work orders, and adjusting plans as needed.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules.Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.Coordinate with Production, Planning, Sourcing, and Warehouse teams.Utilize ERP/MRP systems for accurate production data.Track progress on work orders and adjust plans as necessary.Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and distribution activities.Monitor for any supply chain disruptions and propose solutions.Identify and recommend process improvement ideas.Maintain Distribution Order dating to optimize material flow.Support operations with on-time delivery of material to work centers.Essential Skills
2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing planning role.Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.Familiarity with ERP and MES systems like SAP, Oracle, or M3.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.Work Environment
This position requires working onsite in Solon. The planner will be part of a team led by the Materials Manager. The work environment is dynamic, fostering both independent and team collaboration.

This is a Contract position based out of Solon, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
