Your Role:
At MilliporeSigma, as the Planner 3, you will manage Production Planning & Operational Purchasing activities for raw material chemicals and/or finished goods to support Production of ACS & High Purity Solvents. In this role, you will be part of a highly motivated and trusted team of experts who specialize in solving complex problems along the end-to-end product lifecycle to drive sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities may include:
Support Master Scheduler activities with Planning/Scheduling/Expediting finished goods & raw materialsAnalyze planned orders for raw material requirements as necessaryConvert planned orders to purchase requisitions for raw materialsGenerate monthly KPI’sCreate/update SOP’s and Work InstructionsMaintain strong working relationships and communications with support groups and key suppliersProactively report product and material availability issuesSupport Inventory management activitiesMaintain and audit key SAP planning master dataHandle expediting requests from sales/CSMust develop excellent understanding of complex processes from beginning to end and all steps in detail to perform trouble shooting and process improvements effectivelySupport and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environmentExemplary attendance and adherence to scheduleMiscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned to meet business needs
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in Production Planning, Scheduling and Procurement or Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry 2+ years of experience in moving material through the product delivery cycle, proficient with a PC and data analysis2+ years of experience in Supply chain planning, scheduling and procurement
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain ManagementSelf-motivation and execution focus to meet individual and team objectives in complex fast-paced environment.The technical background to gain the necessary product expertise and knowledge of systems/processes.Demonstrated ability to achieve business goals through collaboration with diverse and cross functional teams, especially within a matrix organization.Agility/adaptability, creative out-of-the-box thinking, a positive mindset.Business acumen, entrepreneurial thinking, instinct to make data-driven decisions.Prior experience in material requirements planning & scheduling techniques
