Planner 2nd Shift
Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in distribution areas according to established guidelines. Ability to operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment while accurately storing, shipping, and receiving product, meeting the company standards of safety, security, and productivity + Must be able to follow daily set priorities and adjust workflow accordingly in conjunction with supervisory staff + Maximizing productive workflow by learning and understanding all functions of the shipping department to coordinate daily activities of the team + Must be able to perform a variety of shipping activities in accordance with priorities and daily goals + Planning and releasing downloads + Distributing orders to picking associates based on order of priority set by supervisory staff + Provide direction to RR drivers to clean and prepare orders + Exceeding standards of safety, security, and productivity + Ability to work 2nd Shift from 3:00PM - 11:30PM with possibility of over-time + Familiarity with JDA and SAP + Strong computer skills are required are must be demonstrated + Excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize with a sense of urgency, ability to work with all levels of the organization + Must have the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization and lead by example + Must have strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances + Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task + Ability to read, count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly + Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time + Ability to lift 30 pounds consistently, up to 50 pounds occasionally + Ability to follow directions + Must display a high level of accuracy and dependability with a good attendance record Saint-Gobain is committed to helping you and your family _be well_ in all aspects of your life.
