Job Description
Business continuity
• Act as point of contact for business questions/issues.
• Document issues and troubleshoot/resolve where possible ensuring BSO is informed, and issues/fixes are communicated to business as appropriate.
• Escalate issues to BSO/vendor when needed and coordinate resolution.
• Regularly review business processes with BSO to ensure system functionality is fit for purpose and utilized correctly.
• Employ technical expertise to work with BSO to advise business on process optimization, taking advantage of new/enhanced system features.
• Support regular business performance and quality metrics (TBD).
• Support BSO in maintenance of system documentation and interface with IT.
• Understand technical configurations and document settings and processes to support ongoing maintenance and onboarding.
System enhancement
• Capture and document business requirements for system changes – to include:
o Understanding and alignment to business process
o Impact to stakeholders
o Business priority
• Review change log with BSO for initial assessment and completeness check.
• Contribute to requirement prioritization meetings and ensure all decisions are captured.
• Propose and develop solutions to deliver enhancements internally where possible and review with BSO for verification and approval.
• Facilitate discussion with vendor on optionality to deliver prioritised enhancements and provide recommendations to BSO for agreement and approval.
• Coordinate release planning to include:
o Creation and maintenance of release plan schedule
o Creation of test plans
o UAT assignment
o Resolution of issues
o Confirmation of UAT outcome with BSO (to include business signoff as appropriate)
o Feedback and confirmation with vendor to proceed
o Approval and delivery of communications with BSO and business as needed
• In the case of planned upgrade:
o Work with BSO to confirm and agree any system changes
o Coordinate release plan with vendor to include testing
o Resolution of issues
o Ensure business readiness (updated training materials, scheduled communications, scheduled training sessions etc.)
o Confirmation of readiness with BSO
o Feedback and confirmation to vendor to proceed
o Approval and delivery of communications with BSO and business as needed
Training
• Contribute to design/delivery and maintenance of training materials.
• Deliver virtual classroom training sessions when required.
• Facilitate drop-in sessions / ad-hoc demo’s of specific system functionality in line with business needs.
• Gather feedback on current user challenges to further enhance materials.
