What You’ll Do

Provide leadership and direction to ensure safe, efficient and productive planer mill operations Oversee production performance by managing volume, yield, uptime, and product quality while enforcing safety standards and company policies Monitor equipment and resources, coordinating with maintenance and other departments to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency Prepare and review production reports, ensuring accurate documentation of shift results, labor and operational performance Drive continuous improvement by recommending process changes, supporting employee training, and promoting a culture of safety and quality

What You Offer

2–5 years of leadership experience in a sawmill, planer mill or similar industrial environment with a proven ability to lead teams in a unionized environment Demonstrated accountability for health and safety with a strong knowledge of standards and practices Solid understanding of lumber manufacturing processes, equipment and products, with exposure to continuous improvement principles in mill operations Proficient in Microsoft Office Ambitious, results-driven leader who thrives on advancing to the next level, mobilizing teams, and achieving operational excellence Collaborative and principled professional with strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills, supported by integrity, sound judgment, and effective time management
