Pizza Station & Floor Guest Attendant
**Description:** **Position Summary** The Pizza Station & Floor Guest Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by overseeing both the pizza counter and the adjoining dining area. This position manages approximately **12 tables** , coordinates guest seating, maintains cleanliness standards, and supports servers to ensure a smooth and efficient service flow. The attendant provides warm hospitality, assists guests with ordering and payment, and ensures that both the station and dining floor operate consistently and to high-quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** **Floor Oversight & Guest Seating** + Oversee the **12-table dining area** , ensuring tables are cleaned, reset, and ready for guests. + Greet and welcome guests, guide them to available seating, and communicate seating arrangements to servers. + Monitor table status and turnover to maintain a steady flow of guests. + Provide visible and proactive support on the floor, responding quickly to guest needs. **Service Support** + Assist servers by running food, clearing tables, restocking items, and offering water or refills. + Check in with seated guests to ensure satisfaction and relay any needs to the appropriate server. + Deliver condiments, cutlery, napkins, or special items as needed. + Help maintain a smooth workflow during peak periods. **Pizza Station Operations** + Greet guests at the pizza counter and guide them through the menu and ordering process. + Assist guests with self-service kiosks or digital ordering screens. + Process payments via POS system, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card transactions. + Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and ready for pickup. + Provide guests with pickup slips and guide them to the appropriate window. **Cleanliness & Organization** + Maintain a clean and sanitary dining floor by wiping tables, aligning chairs, and removing debris. + Restock napkins, plates, cutlery, condiments, and station supplies throughout the shift. + Ensure the pizza station remains organized, clean, and stocked. + Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (HACCP/ServSafe protocols). **Teamwork & Communication** + Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and supervisors to maintain guest flow and service quality. + Communicate guest concerns, table status updates, or operational issues promptly. + Support team members during high-volume periods and contribute to a positive work environment. **Qualifications:** **Qualifications** + Previous hospitality, host, or F&B experience preferred. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. + Basic POS and cash-handling skills. + Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. + Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. **Core Competencies** + **Hospitality Mindset:** Provides warm, engaging service. + **Operational Awareness:** Manages both station and floor functions smoothly. + **Attention to Detail:** Maintains cleanliness and accuracy in orders. + **Team Collaboration:** Works cohesively with servers and kitchen staff. + **Proactive Problem Solving:** Anticipates needs and addresses challenges quickly. **Primary Location:** Caribbean Islands-AW-Palm Beach **Organization:** Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa and Casino **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Bars/Restaurants/Outlets **Req ID:** PAL001235 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
