**Job Title:** T1 Infra – Piping Technician **Location:** Taylor, TX **Job Type:** Contract **Overview** Join a high-impact industrial team as a **Piping Technician** , where your attention to detail and technical expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and safety of complex piping systems. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in inspection, mechanical assembly, and piping who thrive in hands-on, physically demanding environments. **After applying upon reviewing the responsibilities and qualifications, an internal recruiter will reach out to you within 24-48 hours.** **Key Responsibilities** + Conduct detailed inspections of joint connections and torque marks to ensure compliance and safety. + Perform light weld inspections and verify accuracy of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). + Review P&IDs to identify discrepancies, changes, or missing components such as check valves. + Work with HVAC piping and duct systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair. + Ensure all pipe supports are properly engineered and installed. + Participate in pre-inspection processes and collaborate with teams to maintain high standards of quality. **Required Skills & Qualifications** + Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs. + Keen eye for detail and ability to detect subtle changes or issues. + Solid understanding of pipe stress analysis and support systems. + Experience in industrial environments involving construction, commissioning, mechanical repair, and inspection. + Background in mechanical assembly, piping, and welding. + Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. **Work Environment** + Industrial warehouse setting with in-warehouse transportation provided. + Expect to be on your feet for most of the day. + Conditions may be dusty, dirty, and physically demanding. **Why Join Us?** This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and skilled team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
