Position title: Lead Piping Engineer
Working Location: Singapore
Tenure: 1 year contract
Salary Offered: Open for discussion

Responsibilities:
•Lead the piping engineering scope across FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases.
•Review and approve piping deliverables including P&IDs, isometrics, layout drawings, and material take-offs (MTOs).
•Supervise piping stress analysis and ensure proper material selection and specification development.
•Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams to ensure design integration.
•Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, ISO).
•Interface with clients, vendors, and construction teams to resolve technical issues and support project execution.
•Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
•Monitor progress, quality, and resource allocation to meet project milestones.
•Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in piping design and safety.

Qualifications
•Educational Background: Hold a bachelor's degree or above in a major related to marine engineering. Preference will be given to those with relevant qualification certificates.
•Industry and Project Experience: at least 15 years of experience in piping professional design for offshore oil and gas platforms. Have worked in piping professional design or management for offshore oil and gas platform design projects in the Qatar or Middle East region for at least 3 years, and be familiar with the characteristics and requirements of piping design for offshore oil and gas platforms in the Qatar region.
•Professional Technical Skills: Be familiar with piping professional design work for offshore oil and gas platforms, understand the principles, processes, and key technical points of piping design; be familiar with the main international specifications for piping design on offshore oil and gas platforms (such as ASME 31.3, etc.) and relevant design standards and regulations in the Qatar region to ensure the compliance of design results.
•Software Application Skills: Be proficient in using software such as PDMS, E3D, CAESAR II to carry out piping professional design work, such as 3D modeling and pipeline stress analysis, and be able to guide team members to use these software proficiently to complete the design task.
•Team Management and Collaboration Skills: at least 3 years of experience in managing a piping professional team, be able to effectively organize team resources, formulate reasonable work plans, and inspire the work enthusiasm of team members; possess good team collaboration spirit and be able to cooperate efficiently with other professional teams.
•Communication and Coordination Skills: Have excellent English communication and expression skills, and be able to communicate smoothly and efficiently with the client, cross - professional teams, and external partners; have strong coordination skills to properly handle technical differences and work conflicts during the design process.
•Problem - Solving Skills: Be quick - thinking and logical. During the piping design and project implementation process, be able to quickly identify potential technical problems and design risks and propose practical solutions.
•Other Requirements: Have a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, and be able to withstand the work pressure brought by the project; be familiar with the approval process and review practices for piping design in projects in the Qatar region; preference will be given to those with work experience in projects in the Qatar region; preference will be given to those familiar with the standards of Shell and QP companies; be able to work in Singapore on a long - term basis (approximately 2 years).
