Piping Material Engineer

Role Overview Report to the Piping Material lead and his deputy on the project. Develop a summary of piping classes in collaboration with the Process department. Create specifications of piping classes (job specification design and supply). Prepare data sheets for special items. Participate in piping material take-off, working instruction, and management of quantities evolution. Develop job specifications for supply. Create supplier inspection test plans. Issue material requisitions for inquiry and purchases. Conduct technical analysis of supplier offers, including development of technical bid tabulation, clarifications, and deviations from vendors. Review supplier documents after purchase order. Travel for short trips in France and abroad as part of the mission. Skills & Qualifications NACE certification knowledge. Expertise in piping materials and related engineering principles. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Familiarity with international codes and standards, particularly ASME B31.3, ASME, API, MSS, BS, and NACE. Experience with material management and coding tools, specifically Intergraph Smart Materials. Strong communication skills to thrive in a multicultural environment. Excellent analytical and synthesis skills. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a piping material engineer in the oil and gas sector. Pay & Benefits Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
