Job Requirements

We are currently seeking a skilled Piping Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As a Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the installation of piping systems in various energy projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical design and detailing of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping, pipe supports, pipe support structures.Preparation of Plant, equipment and piping layouts, equipment and piping system support structures, isometrics & Bill Of Materials.Work with Drafting/Design team to develop plant, equipment and piping system 3D models, fabrication and erecting drawingsReview and approval of fabrication drawings, Quality Assurance Plans.Able to generate the ideas in simplifying equipment & systemsWell documentation of design and detailing works.Mentor technical efforts within the team and be responsible for technical excellence, quality, reviews, and consistency of methods and on-time delivery of analysis, design & detailing with quality.Seamless interface with cross functional and purchased service team and global team towards successful completion of projects.To carry out piping stress analysis of critical piping system as per AMSE B 31.3, B 31.1 , ISO 14692, UKOOA Codes.

Work Experience

Tools expertise

Experience in 3D plant modeling softwares like AutoCAD Plant 3D etc.Hands on experience in carrying out Pipe routing, Equipment modeling, preparation of PMS, pipe support definition, detailing.Experienced with applicable National / International codes (UBC, IBC, UKOOA, ISO, ASCE, AISC, ACI, ASME, ASTM, EURO,CSA , AS, Indian Standards)

She/he should have the skills to work with diverse team of people, be innovative and adapt quickly to new and upcoming technologies.
 

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in designing and implementing piping systems
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
