Under general direction, modify or create deliverables and may perform assignments of a design nature by applying basic engineering principles and established design practices to develop moderately complex design concepts. Provide technical guidance and may provide direction to other engineering professionals. **Key Responsibilities** Develop and model piping systems, equipment layouts, and pipe supports within the AVEVA E3D software. Produce various project deliverables, including general arrangement (GA) drawings, isometric drawings, and material take-offs (MTOs). Conduct interdisciplinary checks and clash detection to ensure design accuracy and resolve discrepancies, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards like ASME, ANSI, and ISO. Work closely with other design disciplines (e.g., structural, electrical, instrumentation) to achieve integrated design solutions. Provide guidance and mentorship to other piping designers and engineers. Coordinate with project teams to ensure design alignment with project objectives and manage design tasks within project deadlines. Conduct piping studies based on design basis and equipment layouts for various projects. Strong proficiency in AVEVA E3D, with knowledge of AutoCAD also being beneficial. Familiarity with piping design, industry codes (ASME, ANSI, ISO), and best practices in piping system design. Ability to model piping, generate drawings, and understand stress requirements and equipment datasheets. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. **\#LI-SB2** **Management Responsibilities** **Preferred Qualifications** + Diploma preferred + Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred + Typically a minimum of 15 years related work experience Preferred Non-Technical Skills: + Learning on the Fly + Problem Solving + Perseverance + Patience + Time Management + Drive for Results + Self Development + Listening + Informing Preferred Technical Skills: + Experience in the appropriate electronic applications and programs required for performing assignments to include but not limited to CADD or other electronic applications .
