Overview

We are looking for an experienced Pipeline Technologies (PIPTEC) Project Manager to join a high-impact energy infrastructure project. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate all technical activities related to pipeline welding, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Field Joint Coating (FJC). This role is based in Paris with periodic offshore missions and requires strong technical, operational, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning and execution phases for pipeline-related scopesCoordinate welding, NDT, and FJC activities across engineering and field operationsEnsure operational readiness of equipment, procedures, and personnelSupervise cross-functional teams and foster effective communication among stakeholdersOversee quality control and ensure strict compliance with applicable regulations and industry standardsManage technical challenges and ensure timely resolution of project issuesInterface with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to maintain alignment on scope and execution strategy

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience in pipeline construction, welding, NDT, FJC, or equipment managementPrevious experience in project or team management within the oil & gas or energy sectorStrong knowledge of offshore construction practices and operational environmentsProven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsFluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plusFamiliar with quality assurance and regulatory compliance frameworks applicable to pipeline systems

Additional Requirements

Availability for offshore missions (certifications such as BOSIET OPITO and MFC are mandatory at onboarding; Visa support provided if applicable)Willingness to work in a collaborative, multicultural environment within an integrated project team
