Our client is seeking a Pipeline Operator to work within their facilities located in Kenedy, Texas on a 12-month assignment (with possibility of extension / becoming permanent).
Role Overview
Ensure clear communication and teamwork while maintaining a strong focus on safety and environmental compliance.
Plan, organize, and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Be available for on-call responses to emergency situations.
Read, interpret, and utilize P&IDs, process flow diagrams, schematics, and alignment sheets.
Lead contract crews in the field with strong leadership skills.
Follow all established procedures and adhere to safety and environmental policies.
Utilize problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address technical issues with engineering staff.
Generate organized and timely field reports for analysis.
Actively participate in safety and team operations meetings.
Skills & Qualifications
Pipeline Integrity: Strong understanding of pipeline systems and integrity management.
MS Office Suite: Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
Technical Skills: Ability to perform intermediate pipeline flow troubleshooting tasks.
Mobile Equipment Knowledge: Understanding of mobile pump equipment and pipeline cleanouts.
Flow Process Understanding: Intermediate knowledge of how flow processes affect pipeline networks.
Education & Experience
Experience: Oilfield experience, particularly with pipeline pigging using pig valves and conventional launchers.
Preferred Education: Associate’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license.
Work Schedule: 10/4 rotation - 8 hours per day
