Pipeline Execution – Field & Inspection Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing daily pipeline execution and inspection activities. The coordinator will oversee CUI labor crews, inspection crews, and contractor teams to ensure successful planning, scheduling, and execution of inspection and labor scopes. Responsibilities include field walkdowns, work package creation, quality assurance, coordination of access needs, tracking of work progress, and ongoing collaboration with internal teams and contractors.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate crews, equipment, and logistics for Rope Access, Tundra Travel, Scaffold, Water Washing, Insulation Removal, Re-work, and other access solutions.
Manage the labor force for pipeline execution insulation and mitigation activities.
Conduct field walkdowns to identify constraints and layout for mitigation or stripping activities.
Perform visual asbestos assessments and ice coring when required.
Create and validate work packages and required forms (e.g., Pipeline Lifting Approval Forms).
Issue and track work packages to labor and inspection crews; ensure activity/work package tracking is accurate and up to date.
QC all incoming inspection work before submitting for data interpretation and provide feedback to crews on quality issues.
Monitor and update inspection and labor data in InTrack, PI, MIT Lister, and other internal systems.
Review and approve contractor timesheets.
Build hitlists, DCSs, and scan logs to support scheduling and prioritization of field activities.
Coordinate with Roads & Pads for snow removal and access planning.
Collaborate regularly with Inspectors, Optimization Coordinators, ISO Department, Mitigation Coordinators, Field Support Coordinators, and other contractors.
Gather production numbers from all crews and update the Daily Completions Report and Impact Tracker.
Conduct on-site crew visits for safety discussions, JSA reviews, productivity assessments, and QA/procedural compliance checks.
Follow up on special projects, data inquiries, and requests from engineers and analysts.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Ten (10) years of oil and gas inspection-related experience in the upstream industry, including RT, UT, MT, PT, VT, and ILI inspections.
Eight (8) years minimum North Slope experience.
Five (5) years minimum in crew management, training, and reporting.
Five (5) years minimum Prudhoe Bay CUI experience or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and inspection databases (InTrack, PI).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of PHMSA regulations.
Working knowledge of pipeline inspection programs specific to Prudhoe Bay.
Willingness to serve as a temporary fill-in for Pipeline Inspector positions as needed.
