Contract Duration: Until 31st of July  
Rotation: 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Engineer to join our inspection team, supporting pipeline integrity and corrosion management across designated operational perimeters. This role involves direct oversight of inspection activities, corrosion monitoring, and integrity assessments, with a strong focus on technical compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities: Implement inspection plans for pipelines and related structures. Manage inspection schedules, reporting, and remedial actions using CMIMS and RBI-P tools. Supervise inspection contractors and coordinate site activities. Support third-party statutory inspections and certification processes. Prepare and review inspection reports, corrosion guidance documents, and intelligent pigging operations. Recommend corrective actions related to materials, coatings, cathodic protection, and corrosion inhibition. Ensure compliance with technical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in audits and manage change requests. Maintain and update data for risk-based inspection tools. Act as the focal point for pipeline inspection and corrosion activities in the Tanzanian section.
Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of pipeline inspection, corrosion analysis, and RBI methodology. Familiarity with international standards (ASME, API, NACE). Proficiency in CMIMS and Fitness for Service assessment methods (API RP 579, ASME, DNV). Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Fluent in English
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics, Materials Engineering, or equivalent. Solid understanding of metallurgy, welding, inspection techniques, and failure modes. Experience with RBI software and corrosion analysis. ERB registration as a professional engineer (or eligibility for registration post-hiring). The next step
