About the Role

Airswift is seeking an experienced Company Site Representative (CSR) to oversee critical offshore pipelay activities on a multi-billion-dollar gas expansion megaproject with one of the world’s leading energy operators. The scope involves rigid pipeline installation, tie-ins, riser work, and topside connectivity in a major offshore development designed to increase LNG production capacity significantly.

This role is pivotal in supervising offshore construction aboard a pipelay barge, ensuring contractor compliance, safe execution, and alignment with project specifications and timelines. You will act as the client’s on-site representative, interfacing with EPC contractors, Marine Warranty Surveyors, and construction teams.
 

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate offshore pipelay operations on a pipelay barge, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Serve as the primary site interface between the client, contractor, and marine spread.

Participate in daily construction meetings, HSE briefings, and SIMOPS planning.

Oversee installation of pipeline systems, risers, spools, and related subsea and topside structures.

Ensure contractor compliance with project specifications, ITPs, method statements, and HSE requirements.

Monitor progress, provide daily reporting, and escalate critical issues to onshore leadership.

Support system completion, pre-commissioning, and mechanical completion activities.

 

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 15+ years in offshore construction, with 10+ years on pipelay barges or subsea installation vessels.

Proven experience acting as a CSR, Client Rep, or Offshore Superintendent for major offshore pipeline projects.

Strong knowledge of offshore construction sequencing, pipelay spread operations, and offshore safety.

Familiar with welding, hydrotesting, tie-in, and riser installation scopes.

Valid offshore survival certificates (e.g., OPITO BOSIET, H2S).

Prior exposure to EPCIC projects in the Middle East or similar high-spec offshore gas environments is strongly preferred.

Excellent communication and coordination skills across multicultural, multi-contractor environments.

 

Offer

Long-term rotational contract (36 months)

Offshore rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off

12-hour workdays, 7 days/week

All travel, logistics, and insurance arranged
