**Job Title: Pipe Welder** **Job Description** The Pipe Welder is responsible for performing various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, on different pipe materials such as carbon steel and stainless steel. The role involves interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding techniques and sequences. Pipe Welders construct and repair pipe systems and components by cutting, threading, and bending pipes. They inspect welds for defects to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Maintaining welding equipment and tools in good working order and adhering to safety protocols when operating equipment and working with hazardous materials are also crucial aspects of this position. Additionally, Pipe Welders maintain records of welding activities, inspections, and repairs. **Responsibilities** + Perform various welding techniques on pipe materials such as carbon steel and stainless steel. + Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding techniques and sequences. + Construct and repair pipe systems and components, including cutting, threading, and bending pipes. + Inspect welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. + Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order. + Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when operating equipment and working with hazardous materials. + Maintain records of welding activities, inspections, and repairs. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in welding, including structure and pipe welding. + Experience with pipe fitting and TIG welding. + 6G Welding certifications, GTAW, SMAW. + Pipe Welding experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must have more pipe welding experience than fitting. **Why Work Here?** Join a team with a great culture in an expanding shop that is building a pipe welding team.
