**Job Title: Pipe Layer** **Job Description** Join our team to assist in the installation of underground utilities and piping systems at industrial facilities such as water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and shipyards. You will be responsible for preparing grades for the installation of piping and ductbanks, as well as cutting, preparing, and assembling pipe systems made of various materials including PVC, HDPE, ductile iron, copper, steel, and concrete. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the installation of underground utilities. + Install piping and equipment at industrial facilities. + Prepare grades for the installation of piping and ductbanks. + Cut, prepare, and assemble pipe systems of various materials. **Essential Skills** + Experience in construction and pipe laying. + Ability to set grade and lasers for installations. + Knowledge of water, sewer, and electrical lines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Capability to perform manual labor in various environments, including heavy lifting and working at heights for 8-10 hour workdays. + Strong interpersonal skills such as drive for results, effective oral communication, organization, planning, and cooperation. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with growth potential.
