We have an exciting opportunity for a Pipefitter/Welder to join our company at our Harbor Beach, MI production facility.

This role will be on site at the Corteva location.
What You’ll Do:
Perform maintenance tasks on piping components and systems.Install, remove and inspect flanged piping connections using proper torque and bolt-up protocols.Perform basic hand rigging of piping and other mechanical equipment.Fabricate pipe, tubing parts and assemblies (weld carbon, stainless and higher alloy steel).Provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments to work coordinator.Enter hours and history as required into our Maintenance Management System (SAP).Identify and manage materials and equipment.Measure and sketch pipe systems and plan piping systems layouts.Follow the Core Permit and Tag Out Process to ensure all energy is isolated prior to working on piping system.Maintain respirator fit testing and use it when Core Permit dictates.Develop and update procedures to efficiently, effectively and safely work on piping systems.Provide support to improvement / small projects.Other duties as assigned.Education:
You have your High School Diploma/GED.What Skills You Need:
You have completed OR are working towards a vocational school certificate or trade apprenticeship.You have a minimum of two years of experience in pipefitting.You have a valid US driver’s license.You can manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.You are willing and able to work in closed spaces, elevated areas and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.You are willing and able to wear required PPE as needed which can include but is not limited to face shield, gloves, hearing protection, respirator, etc.You have demonstrated experience threading and joining pipe & valve assemblies.You are willing and able to work a daytime schedule and overtime hours including weekend work as needed.What Makes You Stand Out:
Two-year degree in pipefitting, welding or a related technology.Ability to do MIG and TIG welding.Experience with cast iron repair.Underground or utility waterline maintenance experience.Benefits – How We’ll Support You:
