You will be the manager for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Pilot Systems Engineering (PSE) Team, a group of highly talented, current and former aviators, specializing in providing aircrew specific subject matter expertise across several lines of business including F-35, Integrated Fighter Group (IFG), Advanced Development Programs (ADP) and Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM).
What You Will Be Doing
As the Pilot Systems Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
• Leading efforts to provide multiple lines of business with functional support through technical direction, staffing and guidance.
• Managing multiple Control Account Managers (CAM) in the execution of contracts following Earned Value Management (EVM) processes.
• Providing Subject Matter Expertise to at least one of the PSE Team’s supported platforms.
You will be expected to have:
• Understanding of Earned Value Management process.
• Significant leadership experience leading functional teams.
• Experience and recency in tactical military aviation as aircrew.
• Superb written and oral communication skills.
• This is a non-flying position.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Recent DoD tactical aircraft operational and/or training experience in modern military aircraft as a pilot and/or weapon system officer.
• DoD Active Secret clearance
• Experience leading functional teams
Desired Skills:
• Control Account Manager experience
• Master’s Degree
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively within a team.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
