🕒Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6am–4pm (10-hour shifts) + occasional Fridays/Saturdays (rotating)

One of our top clients is seeking a Pilot Plant Technician to join our dynamic team dedicated to advancing therapeutic nutrition. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on in a pilot plant environment, supporting innovative product development and contributing to meaningful health solutions.

About the Role

As a Pilot Plant Technician, you’ll be an integral part of our manufacturing and R&D operations. You’ll work closely with scientists to prepare, process, and package trial batches, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, weigh, mix, and homogenize batches according to protocolsOperate pilot plant equipment, including aseptic fillersConduct sample testing and documentationThermally process and package trial productsMaintain cleanliness and hygiene of equipment and workspaceCollaborate with R&D teams to support trial accuracy and executionMust-Have Skills & ExperienceSample preparation (food, biological, or chemical)Hygiene training and familiarity with SOPsExperience testing and weighing samplesHandling small-scale processing equipmentHigh school diploma required; Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field preferred5+ years in food manufacturing, GMP, or pilot plant environmentProficiency in Microsoft OfficeWillingness to travel overnight for training during the first 6 monthsNice-to-HavesCulinary or food technology educationExperience conducting trials or experimentsAbility to follow detailed protocolsStrong teamwork, adaptability, and integrityPassion for innovation and improving health through nutritionWork Environment40 hours/week, 4-day schedule (Mon–Thurs)Standard hours: 6am–4pm with breaksFlexibility required for occasional Fridays/Saturdays (rotating)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
