Position Summary
Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retentionInstructs both private and group Pilates classesMonitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programsPromotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to membersCompletes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness planMaintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studioRemains current on certifications and new trends in the industryEducates members on current health and fitness issues and trendsMinimum Required Qualifications
Experience in Pilates program designAbility to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 poundsEducation:
High School Diploma or GEDYears of Experience:
1 year of personal training experience6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipmentLicenses / Certifications / Registrations:
Certified Pilates TrainerCPR and AED CertifiedPreferred Qualifications:
College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related fieldPayThis position will be paid commissions between 10% and 65% depending on the product and the Team Member's productivity.
