The Fountaingrove Club is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pickleball Teaching Professional to lead our pickleball instructional programs and support a growing community of players. This position includes planning and teaching lessons, organizing events, and actively promoting member engagement on the courts.
Compensation & Benefits:
• $20/hour plus a portion of lesson revenue
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead a range of instructional programs for all skill levels and ages
• Teach private and group lessons, clinics, and workshops
• Assist in organizing leagues, socials, and tournaments (minimum of 2 tournaments and 6–8 social events per year)
• Lead and participate in Open Play sessions to encourage engagement and identify coaching opportunities
• Provide member ratings and personalized coaching plans
• Collaborate with management and the Court Sports Committee to promote offerings
• Keep online calendars (Club Essentials) and bulletin boards up to date
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of courts and equipment
• Help enforce guest policies and support bocce programming
• Additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
• USAPA certification (or equivalent)
• Minimum 4.5 playing level
• Previous experience coaching players of varying skill levels
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer systems
• Available for evenings and weekends as needed
