Using an RF scanner and powered industrial truck (PIT), this role ensures proper order fulfillment within designated metrics for safety, quality, and productivity. The picker follows pick-to-light instructions, adheres to workplace procedures (WPI’s), and performs physical tasks including bending, twisting, and heavy lifting throughout the shift. **Key Responsibilities:** + Use RF scanners to accurately pick and track inventory in accordance with order requirements. + Pick product using pick-to-light modules and verify quantities through simple counting. + Operate powered industrial trucks (walkie rider) safely and effectively. + Follow established WPI’s and standard work instructions for all tasks. + Meet performance metrics including quality, productivity, safety, and attendance. + Support and maintain 6S and Bosch Production System (BPS) practices. + Maintain clean, safe, and organized work zones. + Report inventory discrepancies or process issues to leadership immediately. + Perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, twisting, lifting, and stacking product. + Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed. **Qualifications** + **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED required. + Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. + Prior experience operating powered industrial trucks (walkie rider) required. + Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse systems strongly preferred. + Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 40+ lbs. + Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently or within a team. + Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed. + **Work Environment:** This is a physically demanding warehouse position performed in a non-climate-controlled environment. Associates are regularly exposed to moderate noise levels, warehouse machinery, and temperature variations. The role involves continuous walking, lifting, bending, and standing throughout the shift.
