PI Dashboard Automation Engineer
Insight Global
Job Description
We are seeking a technically skilled and process-oriented PI Dashboard & Automation Engineer to lead the development of operational dashboards for clean and dirty utilities. This role will begin by leveraging PI Historian data to build a PI Vision dashboard for clean utilities and expand into broader utility systems. The ideal candidate will bring experience in automation, data visualization, and industrial systems, and will help evaluate and implement the best long-term dashboarding solution—whether within PI Vision, ICIS, or a global PI infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
• Design and build dashboards in PI Vision using data from PI Historian, starting with clean utilities and expanding to dirty utilities.
• Facilitate and lead workshops to define dashboard requirements, KPIs, and user needs.
• Evaluate the suitability of PI Vision versus alternative platforms (e.g., ICIS, global PI) for long-term dashboarding strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, system compatibility, and compliance with GMP and non-GMP standards.
• Support non-GMP PI updates and automation tasks required for dashboard development.
• Document system architecture, data flows, and dashboard logic for future scalability and maintenance.
