**Job Description**
**This is a hybrid position, requires 3 days onsite/2 days remote**
The Physician Relationship Manager III (PRM III) is a senior-level role focused on enhancing physician satisfaction, efficiency, and adoption of the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. As an expert advisor and strategic partner, the PRM III provides high-level Epic support to physicians and clinical providers across the organization.
Spending 50–80% of their time in direct one-on-one engagements with providers, the PRM III builds strong, consultative relationships to help clinicians effectively navigate and optimize their use of Epic. This role is instrumental in improving clinical workflows, promoting best practices, and ultimately elevating the quality of patient care.
The PRM III leverages deep Epic knowledge to observe, assess, and document physician workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend targeted optimization strategies. In addition, the PRM III collaborates closely with Informaticists, Epic Analysts, and Training teams to deliver personalized training, support change management, and advocate for physician needs within technical teams.
This position requires strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of clinical operations, and the ability to analyze and address complex, integrated issues. Onsite 1:1 physician support is a critical component of this role, ensuring tailored guidance and real-time problem-solving in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment.
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Information Management, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
**Experience:**
+ Possess over five years of combined experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, and clinical healthcare disciplines, with an equivalent duration of hands-on experience within diverse healthcare settings. Demonstrated expertise in supporting the adoption, development, and enhancement of Electronic Medical Records (EMR), with a strong focus on Epic systems.
+ Proficient in a broad range of Epic modules, including Inpatient, Ambulatory, Cadence, and Epic Reporting, with in-depth knowledge of Epic documentation standards and clinical practice workflows. Adept at providing technical and functional support to physicians.
+ Skilled in working directly with clinical teams to troubleshoot complex issues, deliver user-centric solutions, and adapt to high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Experienced in conducting workflow assessments, analyzing current state processes, and designing optimized future-state workflows that align with clinical and operational goals.
+ Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with demonstrated accountability for managing multiple responsibilities and delivering high-quality outcomes. Committed to bridging the gap between clinical operations and information technology to enhance patient care and user satisfaction.

**Compensation Statement**
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $109,000.00 - $163,695.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. **Responsibilities**
Epic Application Knowledge
1. Successfully achieve certification in primary application assigned as determine by Epic Course Catalog
2. Working knowledge of Epic Ambulatory, Inpatient, Cadence, Reporting (workbench and Slicer Dicer)
3. Providing physician guidance and support through 1:1 provider meeting
4. Demonstrates the ability to collect workflow and other pertinent information from clients
5. Develop current and future state workflows
6. Prioritize and delegate tasks as needed
7. Communicate changes to EPIC before users are permitted to access new releases
8. Demonstrate expert knowledge of the system and provide guidance to providers
9. Demonstrates professional behavior when interacting with clients
10. Attend meetings and training to maintain skills and knowledge
11. Provide classroom support for end user Epic Training
12. Conduct workflow assessments and collaborate on the design and implementation of improved clinical processes
13. Serve as the primary point of contact for physician groups regarding EMR usage, clinical applications, workflow optimization, and business technology needs
14. Support and advocate for physician needs related to the adoption, development, and efficient use of the EMR
15. Perform other related duties

1. Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills while maintaining strong relationships with providers at all levels of the organization
2. Engage in proactive outreach and relationship management to identify opportunities for system improvements and user education
3. Provide direct customer service support to physician
