Responsibilities

Ascension St. Vincent's is looking for a board-certified/board-eligible Family Medicine physician for our new Nocatee Primary Care clinic.

Responsibilities:

Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.Participate in academic programs (eg medical education and research) as requested.Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements. Appeal all denials in a timely manner.Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
