We are looking for a Physician with at least 5 years of recent work experience in a hospital setting, preferably with some Physician Advisory/ Utilization Management work experience. If you are ready to join a talented group of physicians apply today! **Responsibilities** : + Review medical records of identified patients to assist with the level of care and length of stay determination. + Assist and manage the denial management process. + Review and offer suggestions related to resources and service management. + Provide education to physicians and other clinicians on regulatory requirements, appropriate utilization of alternate levels of care, community resources, clinical documentation improvement, coding, quality and/or compliance processes. + Develop strategy and processes to reduce denials and audits. + Assist with appeals and length of stay market initiatives. + Utilize hospital data sources to identify & analyze patterns of over or under-utilization of services, quality metrics and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to help achieve those goals. **About Ascension St. Vincent’s Hospitals (Riverside, Southside, Clay, and St. Johns)** St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside is a 528-bed hospital founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1916.
