Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Primary Care to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health.  South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy.

 

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Opportunity Details:

Ambulatory Care Clinic duties for both adult primary care and internal medicine specialties. Perform history and physical examinations. Order diagnostic tests based on assessments, develop treatment plans and prescribe drugs and other therapies, as needed. Counsel patients and families regarding care. Review and respond to referrals from within and outside the clinic. Precept, evaluate and mentor physician assistant students rotating through the assigned clinics, as needed. Daytime Schedule - Includes one evening per week (11:00am-7:00pm or 12:00pm-8:00pm) and one weekend day per month. New Grads welcome to apply!
