As a Physician Assistant, you will assume responsibility and accountability for comprehensive care, support and education to patients and their families through all aspects of their medical care process. As a Physician Assistant you will: + Participate as a key member of the team to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. + Utilize a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to the care of the patient/family serving as an expert practitioner, educator, consultant and researcher. + Maintain responsibility for job performance specifications. + Assume personal accountability for departmental mission, organizational mission and core values. **Job Requirements** In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: + Two years prior experience in surgery (if applicable). + Masters graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required + PA Certification by N.C.C.P.A. and current mid-level provider license by the state of Colorado required + BLS from the American Heart Association required Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) **Where You'll Work** For more than 50 years, St. Anthony North Hospital has delivered optimal health care to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn and Thornton. Highlights of our campus include 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center with private birthing suites, Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services.
