UPMC Cole is a modern, progressive system centered around a 25-bed critical access hospital located on a large, well-maintained campus with a service area covering 55,000 people living in six counties in North Central Pennsylvania and Western New York. UPMC Cole owns and operates eleven primary care and eighteen specialty medical practices located in Coudersport and the counties that surround the hospital.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
· Current Pennsylvania licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
· American Citizen or FMG
· Resident or Practicing Physician. Any experience level
· Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients close to home
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Must have very good to excellent malpractice history with current coverage
· Must not have been a sanctioned party
· When on call, must immediately respond and be at the hospital immediately within 60 minutes
CANDIDATES CAN EXPECT:
· Non-traditional schedule to promote work-life balance: two-week coverage rotation; requiring the physician to deliver services a total of 26 weeks per year
