School-Based Physical Therapist (Full-Time) Position Title: Physical Therapist Location: Middletown, DE (Elementary Schools; multiple sites) Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week Assignment Length: 13 weeks Estimated Start Date: March 9, 2026 Summer work available (maternity leave coverage) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Physical Therapist. This position will support an elementary school caseload across multiple school locations, providing direct therapy services, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with educational teams to support student success. You will deliver therapy in accordance with each student’s individualized plan of care and applicable physician orders, while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to all professional and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities + Perform comprehensive student evaluations and re-evaluations. + Provide school-based Physical Therapy services in alignment with individualized plans of care. + Document all therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes per district and regulatory standards. + Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families. + Participate in IEP meetings as needed. + Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. + Travel between assigned elementary schools within the district (exact placement TBD).
