Job Description Position Duties + Evaluate residents upon physician order for skilled physical therapy intervention + Provide skilled physical therapy intervention as described in the physical therapy treatment plan + Serve as a consultant for ILC on relevant issues, such as transfer techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention + Work and coordinate with all team members to meet guests’ needs + Train staff members in specific techniques related to each resident’s individual needs in areas such as positioning, transfers, and ambulation + Work and coordinate with all team members to meet guests’ needs + Provide in-service education to the ILC Rehabilitation staff, as well as throughout ILC as needed + Serve as an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, facilitating a unified approach to guest treatment + Attend care conferences as needed to assist in developing and revising resident care plans + Ability to work different shifts, including weekends, to provide optimal resident care + Develop restorative programs and train restorative aides to carry out these programs + Ability to work different shifts, including weekends, to provide optimal resident care + Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Education and Experience + Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program + Licensure as an Physical Therapist in the State of Montana
