The Physical Therapist provides school-based evaluations and therapy services to students with mobility, motor, and functional needs. This role includes conducting assessments, developing individualized plans of care, delivering direct treatment, documenting progress, and collaborating with educational teams to support student access and participation in the school environment.

Location: Tucson, AZ
Start Date: 07/21/2026
Duration: 10 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $58/hour
Modality: In-person

Details of Assignment:
+ Standard school-based physical therapy caseload
+ Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment, documentation, and collaboration
+ Interview required with program leadership
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop plans of care
+ Provide direct therapy services based on student needs
+ Document progress, session notes, and all required reports
+ Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
+ Support classroom and campus access through mobility interventions
+ Participate in meetings and help guide student support planning
Requirements:
+ Current Physical Therapist license in the state of assignment
+ Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
+ One year of PT experience preferred
+ CPR certification if applicable
+ TB screening and current health certificate per state guidelines
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years old
