We are seeking per diem, Physical Therapists for our location in Burlington. This is an in-patient position.

Come join our team of highly passionate physical and occupational therapists with the goal of providing exceptional care to our wide variety of patients. Our therapists specialize in treating patients with orthopedic, neurological, vestibular and pelvic health diagnosis along with orthotic fabrication. We collaborate closely with other hospital departments and foster teamwork to deliver high-quality care to our patients. Job Description:

Under the supervision of the manager and working within their scope of practice as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Physical Therapist I assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve or restore physical function, alleviate pain and prevent dysfunction in patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status from injury, disease or other causes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans

Implement safe and effective therapy interventions with measurable outcomes

Educate patients and families throughout care and discharge planning

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient progress

Monitor and manage therapy productivity and quality improvement data

Stay current with clinical best practices through ongoing education

Participate in departmental initiatives and uphold organizational standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Active MA Physical Therapy license or pending licensure by examination

BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

Experience with documentation, patient education, and therapy planning
