for our commitment to high quality customer focused outcomesOverviewWe are currently seeking a Physical Therapist PT who has a passion for working in an outpatient neurologic rehabilitation setting The ideal candidate will also have experience treating a range of orthopedic conditionsThe Physical Therapist PT administers medically prescribed Physical Therapy treatments to patients The Physical Therapist PT independently evaluates patientrsquos level of function determines treatment strategies and delivers andor delegates Physical Therapy services that identify prevent remediate and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or painThis role encompasses evaluation skills and techniques analysis of patients and therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents prescription of exercise and other procedures to maximize the patients functional independenceNeurologic specific responsibilities includemiddot Evaluate patient with neurologic diagnoses including but not limited to Parkinsonrsquos Disease CVA SCI concussion MS FND balance and fall prevention and create individualized Plan of Caremiddot Demonstrate competence in amplitude based exercises PWR preferred to address movement disordersmiddot Provide patient andor caregiver training in balance and fall prevention strategiesmiddot Provide appropriate and safe exercise and management plan for
