As an Occupational and Physical Therapy Technician, you will support licensed therapy personnel in lifting, transferring, gait-training and exercising patients, providing aid and treatment as directed. This position plays a vital role in supporting Physical and Occupational Therapists in delivering patient care across critical care units and general nursing floors. This role offers an excellent entry point into the healthcare field, offering hands-on experience and opportunities to build clinical skills in a dynamic, team-based environment. **A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with weekend requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Assist licensed therapy personnel in lifting, transferring, gait-training and exercising patients. + Provide aid for patient treatment as directed by licensed therapy personnel. + Maintain sanitary, orderly conditions in department. + Inventory departmental equipment. + Ensure equipment is in good working order. + Fabricate equipment as directed. + Perform set-up of patient-related equipment.
