Overview Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Neuro Rehab

Fairfield, Maine | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Join our Rehab Without Walls team and help adults with neurological injuries regain independence and get back to the activities that matter most to them.

Responsibilities

 

 

Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical TherapistAssist Physical Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment proceduresEducate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical TherapistParticipate in ongoing program evaluation and developmentMaintain thorough and timely documentation of all care providedMaintain working knowledge of and adherence to the APTA Practice Act and Code of EthicsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications

Degree from a certified physical therapy assistant training programCurrent Physical Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of applicationMinimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuriesKnowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniquesCurrent CPR certification Salary Range USD $31.00 / Hour
