**Responsibilities**
Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.
+ Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
+ Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
+ Document treatment interventions given.
+ May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
**Requirements**
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
+ High school diploma or GED required.
