**PTA Position Highlights:**
+ **Setting** : Onsite Required ( No Remote, Telehealth, or Hybrid) - 5 Star Medicare Skilled Nursing Facility
+ **Competitive Pay:** $45-$48 per hour (approx.$93,600 - $99,840 Annual Salary)

+ **Flexible Schedule:** Monday - Friday, Sunday - Thursday, or Tuesday - Saturday
+ **Shift/ Hours:** 8:00 am -5:00 pm - 5x 8s - 40 hours per week

**PTA Responsibilities:**
+ Deliver care under the supervision of a PT for both in-person and virtual sessions
+ Accurately document sessions and follow care plans
+ Help maintain a warm, professional clinic environment
+ Implement evidence-based wound care interventions, including offloading, compression therapy, debridement recommendations, and infection control measures.
+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, and CA state healthcare regulations.
+ Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on wound care best practices and prevention strategies.
+ Collaborate with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and other allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
+ Monitor treatment efficacy and wound healing progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
+ Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
+ Stay up to date with current wound care advancements and participate in ongoing professional development.
**Qualifications & Requirements:**
+ New Grad Friendly - Mentorship Available - Must have active CA PT License
+ 1 or more years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience preferred
+ Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License Required - Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions
+ Active BLS Card Required - American Heart Association or American Red Cross
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facility (preferred but not required).
+ Certification in wound care (e.g., WCC, CWS, CWPT) is a plus.
+ Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for wound care services in skilled nursing facilities.
+ Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team.
+ Strong clinical reasoning, patient education, and documentation skills.
+ Familiarity with electronic medical records EMR systems
