Physical Therapist Assistant
Details Department: Physical Therapy Schedule: PRN, Day Shift Hospital: Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital Location: Jacksonville, FL

Responsibilities

Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist. Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population. Document treatment interventions given. May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support personnel.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart
Association or American Red Cross accepted. Required.Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Florida Board of
Physical Therapy Practice obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Required.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.
