**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.
Every day you will perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide a variety of direct treatments. You will be expected to consistently meet patient care productivity standards, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families, and promote a positive customer service environment.
+ Performs components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by a supervising physical therapist; assist physical therapists in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease
+ Administers therapeutic exercises and physical therapy modalities according to the physical therapy plan of care Instructs, motivates and assists patients to learn and improve functional activity, such as pre‐ambulation, transfer, ambulation and daily living activities.
+ Observes patients during treatments, assesses, and compiles data on patients’ responses to treatments and progress and reports verbally or in writing to the physical therapist; may communicate updates to physicians
+ Fit patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, walkers and wheelchairs.
**Job Requirements**
+ Associate’s Degree from an approved program for Physical Therapist Assistants
+ Current Texas State Licensure (PTA)
+ American Heart Association BLS certification
+ Graduates eligible for licensure will be considered

**Pay Range**
$25.30 - $35.74 /hour
