Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 20577 Amberfield Dr, Land O Lakes, Florida 34638

Schedule: Part Time Mon - Fri. Center Hours: Mon-Thurs 7-7, Fri 7-5

Compensation: $26/hr - $30/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience. 

 

Select Physical Therapy is now hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Part Time outpatient opportunity up to 24 hours weekly. Experienced PTA with minimum of 1 yr experience in outpatient orthopedics, APPLY! Join our team treating general outpatient orthopedic conditions (non-op, pre-op post-op), neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, amputees, fall prevention and ACL. Let's foster your growth!

Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and proceduresMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTEMinimum 1 yr experience working in outpatient orthopedics.Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)CPR Certification Additional Data
