Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient team that serves clinical populations in the area of general and orthopaedic rehabilitation. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for assisting our rehabilitation physical therapists in the care and treatment of patients with impairments related to general and orthopaedic rehabilitation diagnoses. Physical Therapy Assistants will assess the patient's day-to-day progress and will report findings to the physical therapist. They will also implement and modify treatment programs as the patient progresses, with the guidance from the physical therapist.
Physical Requirement: This position requires extensive standing/walking, as well as lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring of patients.
