Position: Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Orthopedics

Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday
Compensation: $25/hr – $30/hr, based on experience
Incentives: $5,000 sign-on bonus and an ongoing student loan repayment option of $200/month
Select Physical Therapy’s outpatient center in Brandon, FL is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. You’ll work alongside 4 Physical Therapists, 1.5 Occupational Therapists, and 1 PTA, treating a diverse outpatient orthopedic population. Our center offers specialized services in neuro rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, concussion management, sports medicine, pelvic health, and hand therapy.

Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and proceduresMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant programPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTEValid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)CPR certification Additional DataRecharge & Refresh: Generous PTO to maintain a healthy work-life balance
