Inova Alexandria acute care team is looking to add a PRN Physical Therapist to our excellent team. We have weekend shifts available and holiday coverage is required. We are a close knit team who love to help our patients on their recovery journey.

Physical Therapist (PT) Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols. Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly. Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts. 

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Physical TherapyLicense: Physical Therapist upon startExperience: No experience neededCertification: BLS through the American Heart Association

Preferred Requirements:

at least a year of experience in an acute care setting
