Job Summary and Responsibilities

Position Summary: 

Participates as a member of the health care team, working with professional and non-professional staff and associated professionals in providing care which provides optimum home care and continuity of care to referred patients, addressing the age of the patients served.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current CA Physical Therapy licensureBLS CPR certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)1 year experience as a physical therapistKnowledge and ability to perform current physical therapy techniquesKnowledge of physical therapy standards procedures and principlesAbility to operate physical therapy equipment for patient careAbility to implement practical application of knowledgeAbility to work independently and autonomouslyAbility to teach and instruct patients caregivers and staff

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months to one year home health experience
