Atlantic Health System is searching for a well qualified Part Time Physical Therapist for Atlantic Rehabilitation's New Providence location. This is a 22.5 hour per week position, and the incumbent will be responsible for providing physical therapy services in an interdisciplinary setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. In addition, will ensure and provide development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary manner.


Principal Accountabilities:


1. Performs initial examinations and differential diagnosis.
2. Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintain proper documentation.
3. Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly.
4. Documents patient care and charges appropriately, and documents the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment.
5. Works with other professionals in an effective manner
6. Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions.
7. Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the interdisciplinary team.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
