Be a part of our inter-disciplinary team and provide high-quality, rehabilitation for our pediatric patients. Key Responsibilities: + Completing comprehensive physical therapy assessment in alignment with department standards and guidelines for pediatric patients. + Reviewing patient medical history/record and selects, administers, and interprets standardized and non-standardized tests and measurements to assess patients’ functional status related to cardiopulmonary, developmental, musculoskeletal, neurological, and sensorimotor function. + Integrating knowledge into clinical decisions and recommendations + Developing and implementing individualized patient treatment programs. + Establishing treatment goals and administers appropriate physical therapy procedures and modalities + Discharge plans and home treatment programs, and providing education to patients and families + Recommending orthotics, adaptive/assistive equipment, and technology for patients with complex, rare, or multiple dysfunctions. + Liaison with equipment designers and vendors regarding equipment specifications and patient needs. + Training patients, families, and caretakers in the use/operation of prescribed orthotics/equipment, monitoring and evaluating effectiveness, and initiating modifications as needed. + Recording assessments, diagnoses, and treatment inpatient medical records according to established documentation standards. + Preparing reports, correspondence, referrals, and other materials for schools, providers, payers, and others as needed. + Assigning standardized billing codes and corresponding charges required for reimbursement. Minimum Qualifications Education: + Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Experience: + Minimum one to two years of previous PT experience, pediatric hospital based preferred. Licensure/Certifications: + Physical Therapist licensure in the state of MA This candidate MUST be able and available to train and orient during weekdaysOffice/Site Location:BostonRegular, Temporary, Per Diem:Per Diem Remote Eligibility :Onsite Only
